Senator H. J. Denton re-
turned Friday from Okiahoma
City where he had been attend-
ing the regular meeting of the
Prison Boara, and looking after
his political fences.
It is a common rumor on the
streets that R. L. Parker will
be a candidate for representa-
tive. Arrangements are being
made to have him open his
campaign with a speaking at
the court house and the or-
ganization of a Parker Club. It
is more than probable that be-
fore another issue of the Post-
Herald is off the press Mr.
Parker's definite announcement
will be made.
Mrs. W. E. Scivally left
Monday for St Louis to pur
chase the spring millinery stock
for the Chedester Co. She will
spend a few days visiting with
her mother while gone.
W . S. Cross returned Monday
from St. Louis where he had
been to purchase goods for the
Cross Dry Goods Store.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bradley
and little Bessie Mike left Sat
urday for St. Louis where they
will purchase the spring stock
for Mike Bradley's big store.
A. M. Stewart and son left
Saturday for St. Louis. Mr.
Stewart is looking after the
affairs of the W. B Groves Co.
