GAS COSTS
You DO YOUR FOOD COSTS
Does it ever occur to you that your gas bill may reflect waste as
well as use of this great natural convenience?
The garbage can reveals an exessive grocery bill but there is no
hopper to measure the waste of your gas fuel
If your gas costs run high it does not necessarily prove such a
quantity of gas was essential to your needs
Wasting gas or losing it is expensive at any price and the unit cost does not influence
this fact
We are anxious to co-operate with you in this particular to the end that you may make
the most of gas without waste or loss
It is our ambition to have every consumer satisfied and to deserve a full community
good will This is a daily effort practiced to the limit of the opportunities you per-
mit With this in mind a gas saving department is maintained by this company for no
other purpose than to advise you with reference to your appliances and the use of
gas This department has nothing to sell Your use of it incurs no obligation on your

on Oklahoma City Building
Nmoa
- Oklahoma City Okla--Authority to
advertise for bids and to go ahead
Immediately with the construction of
its proposed building was given the
Oklahoma City federal reserve bank
in a telegram from Jo Zack Miller
governor of the federal reserve bank
of Kansas City The building to cost
approximately $450000 will be erect-
ed by the bank at the corner of Rob-
inson and Third street
Orders to go ahead with the work
followed the visit of Oklahoma City
bankers to Washington where the
matter was brought up before the fed-
eral reserve board Hugh M John
son president of the First National
bank and D W Hogan president of
the Farmers' National bank and of
the Oklahoma City Clearing house as-
sociation made the appeal
Invaluable assistance in carrying
through plans wherebl work calk'

be started on the bank building was
lent in Washington by Senator liar-
reld Johnson said:
Bids for the building will be re-
ceived up to April 18 by Chicago
architects who prepared the plans and
specifications Daniels said
"We expect to go ahead immediate-
ly with the work and to carry out
our plans which have been delayed
several months" he declared "The
building at first will be three stories
In height and will have an ample
basement It will be so constructed
that additional stories can be added
when they are needed The bank will
occupy the entire building as it will
stand?'
Plans for the building were tied up
several months ago when W P G
Harding governor of the federal re-1
serve board issued an order stopping
the building of all federal reserve
banks proposed or under construc-
tion The order followed the intro-
duction of a bill in congress which
proposed that no federal reserve bank
