The sale of tickets to the
Oklahoma Square Dance Federation
56th Annual Festival has ended. All
tickets were turned in at the Ada
Hereford Whirlers dance on Friday,
October 18. The District sold
16,593 tickets. Each club had sales
of the following: Ada Hereford
Whirlers, 500; Ardmore Southern

Thank you to the Wynnewood
Booster Club for my All State
jacket. I am very proud and truly
grateful.
Three clubs will hold dances the
fourth weekend of October. The
McAlester Stompers will dance at
220 East Adams on Friday evening
to the calling of Ralph Carter.
Also, on Friday evening the Davis
Yellow Rockers will dance at
. Turner Falls Park Trading Post to
the calling of Bill Williamson. On
Saturday evening, the Ardmore
Southern Circle will dance at the
American Legion Building to the
calling of Lavem Glenn. This dance
will be District Visitation and old-
timers reunion dance. All former
members of the club have been
invited to meet and dance with old
friends and new dancers.
Door prizes donated by the
booths will be awarded each hour
and you do not have to be present
to win.
Come to the Festival and see
what’s new in the world of Arts and
Crafts and plan to start your
Christmas shopping early.

Kevin Andrew Davis was bom on
June 28, 2002 at the Pauls Valley
General Hospital. He was 6 pounds
and 9 1/2 ounces. His parents arc
Mallie Rushing and Todd Davis.
His maternal grandparents are
Kevin and Dana Rushing and his
paternal grandparents are Kenny and
Kristy Dixon all of Wynnewood.
He is very fortunate to have nine
great-grandparents: Frank and Linda.

November, thousands gather at the
Carter County Annual Arts and
Crafts Festival to find quality art
and crafts including holiday
specialties, handcrafted jewelry,
porcelain dolls, wood furniture,
baskets, canned and baked items,

much more.
The Festival will be held at
Hardy Murphy Coliseum in
Ardmore. Festival hours are Friday
November 8, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Dr. Kyle Moore purchased
Jameson’s practice and began
management October 1. Moore
attended Jameson’s reception last
week and met many of Jameson’s
former patients. Moore, a JMI
client, has known the Jameson
family for several years. Since his

J.D. Robertson Scholarship Award,
he served as class vice-president and
president for the college of dentistry
and served on curriculum,

outcomes committees. He was on
the honor roll and dean’s honor roll
throughout his dental education. He
is an avid Scuba diver, an American
Red Cross volunteer and a skilled
photographer and snow skier.

Dentist Dr. John Jameson. More
than 200 guests came to a
retirement reception in Wynnewood
last month to congratulate Jameson
on his retirement, and
approximately 75 close friends and
family celebrated with him October
5 at a baseball-theme event at
Oklahoma City's Mickey Mantle
Restaurant.
