We are having our siege of the
influenza, all pupils and all but four employees have
been confiadd to hospital or room and many developed
pneumonia with it but there have been no fatalities to
date and we believe we are going to get through without
any. Our physician took down when we most needed him and
it was a task to secure the services of another. Iio nurses
in the country, so you can somewhat imagine our predicament.
I am inclosing herewith a
check for $4.00 payable to the order of Maxie Onaha,
one of the girls transferred to your school this past
September from this school and ask that you hand it to her
or have it properly endorsed and cashed for her so that
it will clear out of our accounts. The check was drawn
and not delivered and has been overlooked since.
