Base Ball News
VETS WIN AGAIN
In a good game of ball the Vets
beat the -Tigers 8 to 2 A cold
-wind was blowing from the north
'and made good base ball rather
alow at times but nevertheless it
was a game full of real base ball
flashes Double plays and even
tripple plays were pulled in mid-
wesson form Errors and bonehead
plays were also pulled in grand
style Although we’ll blame the
weather man for those this time
A good sized crowd turned out
with a full supply of overcoats and
sweaters to keep out the cold
breeze All stayed till the last out
because the game was full of pep
This most likely is the last game
of the season Moth balls will be
packed around the uuiforms gloves
-and balls until April welcomes the
boys back to the ball fields Let’s
all keep up our base ball pep dur
ing the bitter cold days soon to
-come and get started early next
spring organizing a real peppy
team to represent OKARCHE
