announce themselves for preferment
at the hands of the Democratic party
in the coming primaries will be
charged the following prices:

County Offices. $10.00
District Offices $10.00
Congressional $15.00

Cash must accompany each an-
nouncement. The announcement will
appear in each issue from the date
of being sent in until the primary
occurs on August 4th, 1910.

The News is authorized to announce
the candidacy of A B. Green for the
lice of County Clerk subject to the
action of the Democratic party at the
coming primary election.

nounce the candidacy of Prof. J. A.
Chaney for the office of County Clerk
subject to the actisn of the Demo-
cratic party at the comming primary

Phil Stevenson made public
his candidacy for Sheriff of
LeFlore county Wednesday
night at a meeting of the re-
publican club. Should "Phil
be elected to this important
office, LeFlore county citizens
will have no cause to weep.

J. H. Hinton, the present
county sreasurer, was a pleas-
ant caller at the News office
Monday. Mr. Hinton is a
candidate before the demo-
cratic primary for re-election
and as he has made good as
an officer he stands a good
chance of succeeding himself.

the News a pleasant call Mon-
day, Mr. Carter is a candi-
date before she democratic
primary for sheriff of LeFlore
county and if elected be will
make an officer everyone will
be proud of. He has a large
number of warm friends in
Wister.
1 he Attorney General has
held that the county is not li-
able for the mileage nor per
diem of any witnesses that at-
tend the County court, so all
witnesses must not expect any
pay for their attendance at the
County court in any criminal
case as the clerk cannot pay
them.
