Geary, O. T.—Reported—The old
Reil hotel will be replaced by a, mod-
ern 2-story brick in the near future.
Hastings, O. T— Reported—Plans,
have been completed for warehouse
and work will commence at o ice. It
will be built of corrugated moral.
Konawa, I. T.—Contractors Cunning-
ham and McBride have completed the
new stone and brick building for K. E.
White.
* Krebs, I. T.—Reported—The res-
taurant of Fred Kearns, the vacant
store of A. G. McMullens and the res-
taurant and store of Tom Crowder
were d stroyed by fire. The loss was
practically covered by insurance and
the building will be rebuilt at once.
Mangum, O.T. — R eported — The
Farmers' & Bankers' Cotton Ware-
house Building association, of Hous-
ton Texas, have secured the contract
to build the $5,000 cotton warehouse
♦McAlester, I. T.—Reported.—Capi-
talists are here looking for a site to
build a modern 6-story business build-
ing.
McAlester, I. T.—Reported—Franiv
Craig, cashier of the City National
Bank, announces thai the bank will
erect a handsome business building in
a short time.
McAlester, I. T.—Reported—H. H.
Kirkpatrick has commenced work on
a building in the rear of the Kali Inla
building which will oe used for a heat-
ing plant. Pipes and radiators will be
installed at once.
Mill Creek, I. T.—Special—P. D.
Roach is building a modern barn 44x
SO feet, 20 foot wall, cost ^2,700.
Mill Creek, I. T.—Special—Con-
tract.i- Fred Koch has completed a
:K, ? H*t addition to W. Y Ohkwiod's
d/w store, cost $750.
Mill Creek, I. T.—Special—On Nov.
12th some of the most important build-
ings were destroyed by fire, and will
not be rebuilt until spring.
Newkirk, O. T.—Reported—The bus-
iness building of .!. S. Thomas was de"
stroyed by fire, fully insured.
♦Oklahoma City.—Special.-—Archi-
tects Williams & Wells have com-
pleted plans and specifications or
wiring the Pioneer Telephone build-
ing and the contract will be let at
once.
Oklahoma City—Reported-- Work
was commenced on the excavation for
a 3 story and basement building for
the Oklahoma Grocery company. The
building will be <5x140 feet, with a
cold storage plant, cost $35,000.
Oklahoma City.—Special—Architects
Williams & Wells are planning a new
front for the store room occupied by
Street & Harper. The improve-
ments will require plate glass, prism
glass and copper tacing.
Oklahoma City.—Special—Architects
Williams & Wells have prepared plans
for a warehouse for Engelis ^ Hillman'
50x110 feet, 2 stories and basement,
brick, iron, steel, concrete floors, tar
and gravel, piare ana common glass,
electric wiring, plumbing, freight ele-
vator, cost $20,^00. Bids will be asked
for when plans are completed.
Oklahoma City. — Special — Archi-
tects Van Meter & Schmitt are pre-
paring plans for a depot for the
Metropolitan Street Railway Co., 24x
44 feet, 1 story, brick and stone, con-
crete floors, tile roof, tiling, hard
plaster, electric fixtures, DS glass, 2
brick mantels, lavatories, cost $2,000.
Bids will be asked for when plans are
com pleted.
♦ Oklahoma City — Special — Th?
Alexander Drug Co. has let the con-
tract to Swatek & Parker for the
erection of their building on the south-
east corner of First and Harvey.
Plans prepared by Williams & Wells,
100x1*0 feet, 4 stories and basement,
paving brick, Carthage stone trim-
mings, heavy mill construction, con-
crete floors, Carey asphalt roofing,
metal ceiling, metal cornice, tile ves-
tibules, hard piaster, electric fixtures,
plate and prism glass, lavatories,
steam heating, freight and passenger
elevators, cost $70,000.
Perry, O. T.—Reported—Five two-
story, one 1-story buildings and sev-
eral other buildings were destroyed
by fire. Loss between $18,000 and $25,-
000, with practically no insurance.
Snyder, O. T.—Reported—C. E. Lac-
ey has commenced work on a brick
business building.
♦Shawnee, O. T.—Reported—Plans
are being prepared for an addition
to the Mammoth store, which will be
a two-story brick structure.

Henley is contemplating the erection
of a new brick business building.
Wann, I. T.—Reported—A new
brick bank building is being erected
with Masonic hall above.
♦Woodward, O. T.—Reported.—The
confectionery, the drug store of Dr.
Chandler, and the barber shop of Cash
Price were destroyed by fire. The
loss was much greater than the in-
surance. The buildings will b • rebuilt
at once by the owner, Dr. Chandler.
