Hio gentle spiing breezo snd the
sti'"iig spring winds in connection with
iill that April gives, her hardest rains,
will not clean up the streets and alleys
of the city as they should be.
A little labor on the part of each citi
zen whether it be at his place of busi-
ness or at bis residence wiil get things
in a shape for summer when there is
danger of fever (serins ctc. emerging
from tho filthy litter and decaying
truits. peelings and everything in that
line which is lying in the back yards
of a great many dwellings.
Stillwater is not « filthy town and
the idea is not to let it get in that con-
dition.
A small particlo of this, a dish pan
full of that and a bnrrell of tlie other,
scattered about at various times does
not at tirst look bad, seem much, smell
at all, but when the hot rays of the
sun beam down on the fttilT it smells
bad enough to draw ones imagination
to such an extent that he may think he
lives in, or near a slaughter house.
Let Pach one keep up his part of the
sanitary condition of our city by clean-
ing tip before the April rains are over,
and aiso beautify their residences and
residence property.
Ihis is no doubt one of the bfst and
most beautiful cities in Oklahoma. Let
us k"cp it that v. ay.
