Perry, Ok., March 2. The jury in
the noted Richardson bank cases,
which have been on trial at .New-
kirk, Kay county, on charge of ven-
ue from this county, failed to agree
alter being out four days. There
were six names in the indictment,
hut only twQ, T. M. Ricliardssn, Sr..
and Jr., were tried for receiving I
money when the bank of Perry was !
in a failing condition. J. V'. N j
Gregory of Dexter, Mich., a million-!
aire and president of the bank; 11. s. I
Hartley, president of the First Xa-1
tioual bank of Arkansas City; T. M.
Richardson, Sr., democratic nation-
al committeeman of Oklahoma,
and formerally a prominent candi-
date for governor and one of the
wealthiest men in the territory; his
son, Merrie Kichardson, and Fred
W. Farrar, formerally of Boston,
are all included in the same indict-
ment. During- the trial Fred W.
Farrar, cashier of the bank, was
I fined $250 for applying vile epithets
■ to an attorney while on the witness
stand.

j services at the Presbyterian church,
.last Sunday nignt. After the ser-
vices, Miss Alice Short and j. T.
Hodge were joined in marriage.
Mrs. Acers and Mr. Tate sang a
duet at the Presbyterian church
last Sunday, that was very much
