gation of Miller's financial affairs since

tional banks of Den vcr aggregated $845,-

man National banks and the remaining

vived the panic. Receiver Prank Ad-
ams of the Commercial National bank
and Zepli T. Hill of the German Na-
tional bank have been pronging Miller

in Chicago for $825,000, but not a cert
of this money reverted to the banks in
Denver. It was upon receipt of tho
news that he had received the money
from his bonding operations that the re-
ceivers withdrew their objections to
riminal prosecution, as they were now
assured that he did not intend to pay.

tation of tobacco from Cuba after 10
days, has caused great consternation
among the largo manufacturers of Tarn-
