Attempted Jail Break.
Last Monday night the county
jail made another attempt to
j break out. Deputy Handley and
Jailor Weaver were on guard,
and tired a few shots from theii
revolvers, which warning was
sufficient to quiet them down.

Granville Jones and Mrs. Cora
F. Green, of Chandler, were
married Saturday by liev. Rowe,
pastor of the Baptist Church.
J. H. Handley has purchased
property just west of Ratliff &
Hinchey's store
residence.
