Zinc Ore.
C J. Strickland called at out office
today aud left with us samples of zinc j
>re with a mixture of silver and lead j
.vhich, from appearance, are very rich. I
.vir. Strickland got tho ore on his farm
not very far south of Perrj, and has no
cheme to work or mining company to
organize; does not want to sell his farm j
for which he has received his patent, j
Ho invites the fullest investigation of
his discovery and the extent of the ore I
is he has nothing to conceal. He states |
that the ledge of rock from which he
took the samples of ore is from six to
eight feet thick.
Mr. Strickland is well known in Perry
as a man of integrity nnd his statements
can be relied upon.
This discovery should bo given im-
mediate attention. Any parties wish-
ing to visit the localitv will be readly
shown by Mr. Stricklund where the ore
is located.
In connection we will also state that
Druggist L. E. Garnett tested some ore
yesterday brought in by a gentleman
who lives a few miles trom Perry and
found it contained a line quality of zinc
in big paying quantity.
