OKLAHOMA ATTORNEYSHIP.
Special to the Wave
Washington, Fel). 13.—Colonel
John Robinson, commissioner of dep-
| ositions in the Enid land office, has
arrived to look after his application
| for the appointment of United States
attorney for Oklahoma. The colonel
io from Georgia and has the Georgia
pull, which, so far, has been a good
thing in the interior department, but
not so good in the department of jus-
We are now located in our new quarters, uce. Nevertheless the coionei be-
~ ~ lieves lie has a show for the place
and is here to look after his chances.
j It is not certain that the attorney
| general will create another position
j of this sort in Oklahoma. At pres-
ent there are two assistant attorneys
! and the attorney general thinks that
j is about enough, although United
„ | States Attorney Brooks has asked
5C j that another be appointed. It is
5C 1 claimed, however, that one of the as-
4C ' sistant attorneys, Mr. McMechan, of
4c | Oklahoma City, is likely to go down
^gc in the Justice Scott wreck. Should
that happen it will create a vacancy,
and in that event Colonel Robinson
thinks he will get into position to
light for it.

THE
Cure For Headache.
As a remedy for the cure of all
kinds of headache Electric Bitters
has proved to be the very best. It
effects a permanent cure and the
most dreaded habitual sick headache
yields to its influence. We urge all
who are afflicted to procure a bottle
and give this remedy a fair trial. In
cases of habitual constipation, Elec-
tric Bitters cures by giving the need-
ed tone to the bowels, and few cases
long resist the use of this medicine
Try it once. Large bottles only fifty
cents at the Cherokee Pharmacy
company.
Opera House.
Enid sure needs a better opera
house than it now has and will event-
ually have one hut now is the time
for tome one to erect it. This is a
good show town and a reasonably
good house would be a paying invest-
ment from the start. There is a par-
ty nov in the city who stands ready
to lease a house, if one is built, and
is willing to pay a reasonable rental
for it. Why don't some of our local
capitalists look into this matter?
