THE GUNS ARE MISSING
Car Load of Cannons From Fort Sill
Have Been Lost on the Road
Uncle Sam has a car load of cannons
that have gone astray and as a result
the artillery at Fort Sill has no guns.
The caissons were shipped here on flat
cars and arrived alright. The guns,
however, were dismounted from their
carriages and loaded into a seperate
car and this car has been sidetracked
and lost somewhere.
Tracers are being sent all over the
country in search of this car load of
guns as its failure to arrive ties up
the matters at the Fort. A car load
of cannons looks like a pretty larg<5
thing to go astray but that is just what
has happened in this instance and as
a result Uncle Sam has 600 artillery*
men at the Fort but no guns.—Lawton
Democrat.

DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE
So Said the Coroner's Jury,
Case of Mike Powers.
For two years 1 suffered with dyspepsia
which so degenerated my entire system that I
was unable to attend to my daily duties. Ii
felt weak and nervous, and nothing that late
tasted good and it caused a disturbance in my
stomach. I tried different dyspepsia cures,
but nothing seemed to help me. I wjis ad-
vised to give Lydia K. Pink ham'a Vegetable
Compound a trial, and was happily surprised
to find that it acted like a line tonic, and in a
few .lays I bogankto enjoy and properly digest
my food. My recovery was rapid, and in
rive weeks I was a well woman. I have rec-
ommended it to many suffering women."
j No other medicine in the world has
received such widespread and unqualiH
*he j fled endorsement,or has such a record of
cures of female troubles, as has Lydia
K. I'ink ham's VegctiAbio Compound.
