STABBING AT BYARS.
In an encounter near Byars one day
last week, Jim Nails was stabbed by a
man named Ollie Hendricks from the
effects of which he could not recover
at latest reports.
The cutting is claimed to have been
done in self defense by the cutter and
others who are in a position to know
as Hendricks was asaulted by two men
and cut his assailant after warning him
to desist. .
Mr. R. R- Nelson, the clever depot
agent at this place, informs us that the
sale of tickets at his office during the
past week has aggregated about four
thousand dollars.
