I must say a word as to the ef-
ficacy of German Syrup. I have
used it in my family for Bronchitis,
the result of Colds, with most cx

derived good results therefrom. I
therefore recommend it to my neigh-

content with success already attained
in this direction. A schedule has just
been prepared by the Street Commis-
b oner including so lar^e a number of
improvements as to embrace 200 miles.
It will take ten years to carry out the
plan, and when it is completed there
will be little left to desire in the way
of good streets. The Boulevard sys-

will provide excellent driving ways
for light vehicles. The acknowledged
weak point in the city streets are in
those running north and south, and
these will be attended to as soon as
the boulevards are finished.
One of the pleasantest duties of the

The building will be finished and
turned over to the city this fall with
imposing ceremonies. Representatives
from all parts of the State will be in-
vited and special interest will center
in the proceedings frotn the fact that
Missouri granite and stone have been
