WILSON VETOES THE ARMV BILL.
Objects To Certain Changes In the
Articles of War.
Washington.—The army appropria-
tion bill was unexpectedly vetoed by
President Wilson because be would
not accept certain provisions la the
revision of the articles of war forced
Into the bill by the house conferees
and commonly said in army c< teles to
be in the Interest of certain retired
officers "at outs with the army." The
bill will be repassed with his amend-
ments.
