One bogus «livino healer plying
his trade in the State of Illinois
has just been sentenced to tlie
Federal penitentiary for four years,
and the sentence seems to be hardly
commensurate with the crime, al-
though a step in the right direction.
The man who prays upon the in-
firmities of the human family de-
serves the extreme penalty of all
law.
A newspaper which has the in-1
terest of the town and community I
at heart, in which it is published,
promotes that interest to the full
est extent, and it is impossible
therefore- for the public to place
an estimate upon the worth of such
a paper. No other enterprise in
the town can do as much for the
general public or the individual
citizen. None stand more for the
upbuilding and betterment of the
community, and yet the newspaper
is the last to get credit for what it
really does. When a fight for the
town is to be made, a mad rush is
always made for the newspaper
office where the editor, as a rule,
lines up in defense of his people
and his town. Is he repaid for his
loyalty ?
herishid beyond all else.
Therefore, be it resolved that the
members of the Cleveland County
Bar desire to express our highest
appreciation of our brother as a
young lawyer of rare ability, as a
congenial and loving associate, as
a christian gentleman whose cour-
teous demeanor, strict integrity and
loving kindness made us honor and
hu e him. His vacant chair can
not be tilled, his beautiful christian
! personality can not be forgotten.
Resolved, that we tender his af-
flicted family and relatives out
heartfelt condolence in their sor-
row and assure them that we fully
appreciate their loss, our loss, in
the death of Father, Husband,
| Brother, Friend.
Resolved that a copy of this
I resolution be spread upon the Min-
utes of this Court, and that a copy
he furnished the family of the de-
ceased. B. F. Wolf

Paris.—"It's a Long, Long Way
I to Tipperary" has become famous
as the marching song of the British

infectious lias its music become
i that the French have taken it up,
audit is not unusual to hear an en-
lire French regiment singing it as
j it marches. Here are the words of
the chorus as the French sing it:

Mrs. Frank

Wis. Her letter
reads: "1 began using Peruna ft
few months ago when my health and
strength were all gone, and I wa
nothing but a nervous-wreck. Could
not sleep, eat or rest properly, and
felt no desire to live.
"Three bottles of Peruna made
me look at life In a different light,
a8 I began to regain my lost
Btrength. While my recovery took
nearly four months, at the end of
that time 1 was better than I ever
had been before I had a splendid
color and never weighed more tn my
life. %
•■I certainly think Peruna Is with-
out a rival as a tonic and strength
builder, and it has my endorsement."
Mr. Charles Brown, R. R. 4. Box 79,

tried many different remedies, but
have found that Peruna is the great-
est tonic on earth, and a perfect sys-

sick headache is nearly always caused
by disorders of the stomach. Correct
them and the periodic attacks of sick
heudache will disappear. Mrs. John
Bishop of Koseville, Ohio, writes: About''
a year ago 1 was troubled with indigestion
and sick headache that lasted for two or
three days at a time. I doctored and tried
a number of remedies but nothing help-
ed me until during one of those spells a
friend advised me to take Chambelain's
Tablets. This medicine relieved me in a
short time." For sale by all dealers.

- The Man With The Ink Horn By
His Side is the Title of a Book con-
taining 246 pages, written by a
man who was misguided in his
youth, and he now gives to the
public the Reminences of a bad
spent life, pointing out the suffer-
ance, sadness and sorrow which
are destined to be the fate of every
one who lives in contradiction to
the written and revealed word of
God.
As one who was dissapointed in
a Love affair he giver timely warn-
ing to Bays and Girls with refer-
ence to trifling with each others
affections, he hoists a danger sig-
nal and sounds a note of alarm
with reference to hasty procedures ;
in Love, Courtship and premature ;
Marriages, with newly found ac-
quaintances and strangers, also,
showing the vital importance of
priding in and retaining their
Chastity, Virture, Truthfulness
and Honor. Which if not heeded
to, firings sorrow, sighing and
shedding of tears, Incarceration in
Asylums, County Jail, State Pen-
itentiaries, Alms Houses and
Houses of Prostitution.
Having unfortunately been en-
gaged in the sale of Spiritious,
Vinous and Malt Liquors, he has
oberved and definitely points out
the devastation and destruction
which he indirectly holds himself
responsible for, by having sold
one quart of whiskey which speed-
ily resulted in widowhood and
orphanage, leaving serpent biting
and adder stinging behind the
deceased father and husband even
after death.
