shown to the outside world by clever
people who have been in it and of it,
and this has been done by Jesse Lynch

volume is a collection of stories of

opening sketch. The stories are faith-

newspaper country, and are written
with considerable skill. Those who

and those who are outside of the
newspaper world will find in the book
glimpses of a life which cannot fail
to attract their interest and appeal to
them from its novelty, if from nothing
else. Mr. William's weakest story is

I was seriously alflicted with a

had a more severe cough than ever
before. 1 have used many remedies
without receiving much relief, and
being recommended to try a bottle
of Chamberlain's Cough Itemedy, by
a friend, who, knowing me to be a
poor widow, gave it to me. I tried it,
and with the most gratifying re-

very much and the second bottle has
absolutely cured me. I have not
had as good health for twenty years.
