The red-haired, silver-tongued young governor moved into his suite of offices at the state-house, and was scheduled to address the 27th legislature at 2 p.m. He was to place before the house and senate one of the most controversial reform programs ever embraced by an Oklahoma governor......Edmondson said he also dreams of bringing new industries to Oklahoma so that 75,000 new factory jobs can be provided. he dreams of an increase of 250,000 inpopulation during the next four years, and of an educational system "second to none."........Mrs. Edmondson, 53, collapsed at the start of the reception and was rushed under oxygen to St. Anthony hospital here. She suffered from heart palpitations but physicians said her conditions was satisfactory and she probably would return home today....The Garys then droce to their farm home near Madill. Mrs. Gary remarked, "This is my happy day."

However, fans who don't mind walking a littl way can find free parking east of Grand Blvd. The stadium is just west of Grand Blvd. Mayor Norick, who also is chairman of the baseball trust, said Wednesday the paid parking area was in the original plans of the trust. The trust will get 25 percent of the revenue from the parking fees. The lot south of the stadium has not yet been paved or fenced, but those improvements are included in the stadium plans, Norick said."

Crescent residents made repeated trips to the place where only one day before stood the $120,000 Crescent grade school. Now after a $100,000 fire, it is a heap of ashes. The school had been in use only one year and had been termed by some a "doll house" because of its modern structure. "The worst thing about it," Superintendent W. D. Daniels said, "is that it is Christmas time and the school was full of things the kids had made. "If you had walked through the building yesterday, and then had to go back into it today, it would nearly break your heart," Daniels said."

Two intersections on Classen boulevard, just four block apart, were the most dangerous spots in Oklahoma City last year, the Oklahoma City Safety council reported Saturday. The top danger spots in the city were on Classen at NW 10 and NW 6. The NW 10 and Classen intersection was the top spot with 42 accidents property damage of $13,995 and injuries of 14 persons. The NW 6 intersection was close behind with 49 accidents, $10,825 property damage and four persons hurt. The safety council said the most common accident at both points were two-car collisions involving left turns."
