St. Louis & San Francisco (SLSF) "Frisco" Lamberson wye
Description:
A photograph print showing the St. Louis & San Francisco (SLSF) "Frisco" track switch. "With this type of switch, there are no breaks in the main-line rails. The Frisco used this one, and another like it, a "split-proof swich", at the Lamberson wye in a remote area north of Talihina, OK., where helper engines were turned at the top of Winding Stair Mtn. Can you figure how it worked? It did! Line abandoned."
