The permanent pool surface area is 13.2 acres. It will cover 37.6 acres when it reaches the emergency spillway at left.”

Description: Photograph of an aerial shot of Rush Creek & US Highway 77 Bridge damaged by floodwaters. The nearby city, Pauls Valley, was also flooded. The back of the photograph proclaims, “Bridge (on river) on reenforced [sic] concrete piles was overtopped by flood water. Several of the piling failed by shifting downstream.”
