Description:
borders being watered to check on land leveling work, prior to seeding alfalfa. Shows areas needing additional work. Soil Conservation Service program started in 1954 on this farm with irrigation surveys being made on 27 acres. Adequate water source was not found until 1956. Two sources now being developed. Additional surveys made on 158 acres and border irrigation plan being established. Rudolph McGehee in picture.
