Description: Photograph of the aftermath of a six-inch rain, which broke the Elk City Reservoir Dam. Notice the concrete debris in the foreground. The back of the photograph proclaims, “View of broken dam from downstream side. A six inch rain in one night caused the dam to overtop its entire length and finally break.
