Old Graves Tell Story of Early Caddo Culture
Story of discovery of three graves, near Hugo, during construction of the Hugo Dam. Archaeologist Don Wycoff suggested they dated from around 1250 A.D. Pottery and bones were found in the graves near the Kiamichi River, in Choctaw County.

Canton, Frank M. Life of early day outlaw-lawman Frank M. Canton. Born Joe Horner, in 1849, near Richmond, Virginia. After brush with the law near Jacksboro, Tex., he changed his name to Canton.
