Photograph taken for a newspaper owned by the Oklahoma Publishing Company. Caption: "Johnny, the London zoo's 4 year old chimpanzee, likes to put his quick wits to work by playing cards. Like so many humans, however, Johnny hates to lose. While playing with his keeper, Sam Smith, Johnny is apt to palm an ace or hide an important card when the game is going against him. When he loses, Johnny will often throw his cards to the floor in disgust. Sometimes his temper really rises and he throws the table to the floor, or if Sam Smith is not carful, he throws his keeper to the floor. All of which goes to prove that a good loser is a rarity."
