many Mayes county farmers at good
wages.
The result of tbe meeting was the
appointing of a committee (or tbe
purpose or reeling ont" the senti-
ment of the people of the townships
involved snd to agitate the mutter
as much us possible. Those appoint-
ed on this committee are: C. L.
Samuel. J. Howard Langley. T. 0.
Bowling. M B. Eberhart. V. L. Hug-
gin*. Four other persona are to be
appointed also one for each township
through which* the road is to run If
built, ll has also been suggested,
and tbe suggestion has met with con-
sideiable favor, that east and west
