J T. Hoy and wife hitched up
their farm wagon and carried
quite a number of the young lad-
ies of the Brule Sunday School
out to the editor’s farm home on
last Sunday, where all enjoyed a
pleasant day after Sunday and
preaching.
Henry Backetfc. construction
engineer of the Santa F© has been
called from New Mexico to work
with the construction companies
who have contracts for building
new lines for the Santa Fe He
will be located at Woodward for
the present.
Our neighbor. A. C. Janssen,
was visited by two sons during
the latter par* of last week, one,
Wm , has a valuable home near
Chickasha. and the other. John
T., lives in the south part of this
county. They both have families
and are well to do

M. C Ortiz has been having
trouble with his cattle again.
We warmly welcome our new
neighbors, the Po9t family, in
our neighborhood and hope they
will be vvell pleased with their
new home.

cotton patches.
Mr- Brav has been cutting feed
for M O. Ortiz lately.
Chris Remele has finished tbe
new coal house and underpined
the school house at Pikes Peak.
Now when the new stove comes
the children can keep warm as
there is coal in the coal house and
more to follow.
I see a few of the mail boxes on
R. R. No. 1 are numbered, why
are they not all numbered?

Pikes Peak last Sunday night.
Albert Liske who has been in
Ashland for a few weeks has re
turned home.
Mr. Moore went to Ashland the
first of the week.
