It was my intention in the organize
tion of the El Reno State Bank to have
taken an official and working position
in said bank, but business nutters of a
personal nature require that I give all
xiiy time and personal attention to my
office business, hence 1 shall not take
an active part in the management of
this bank at this time, but shall retain
an interest and appear on the direc-
tory. The management of the bank
will be in the hands of Mr. A. F. Mae-
termau and Mr, Geo. W. Bellamy, both
well kuowu business men. I shall
contiaue my lo»n business and the
handling of all kinds of securities at
the same office occupied by me for
gome years past, aad can be found
there at f II times in condition to take

l'he entertainment given fur the
benelit o* the band boys wus an an-
j.yable affair. Tne performance was
first-class, but the attendance was not
what it shonld have been. The cause
deserved better patronage, Perhaps
the fault is not entirely one of lack of
appreciation. Sirne blame attache-
to tlie promoters of the entertainment
in not advertising m ire. This is not a
seltish suggestion on thu part of the
Bell, for neither this papir nor any
other would have uia Is any chirge for
