John Boedecker renewed the lease
with the owner of the big Corner De-
partment Store buiidlng last week.
The. proprietors are making some re-
pairs among them the removal of the
wooden awtilng and replacing it with
a galvanized iron shelter over the
west front.
I,. K. Meek left Saturday evening
for Kansas City to v I s i t a brother,
and be present when Pres. Taft ad-
dresses* the great conservation con
gress. Mr. Meek is greatly interested
in good roads and will indeavor to get
all the information possible en that
important subject.
The contest that has been in pro-
gress in the Epworth League for the
past three months closed last Sunday
night with a tine program on the
