Phyllis Hon was hostess at the
meeting of the Juvenile MacDow-
ell Club at lbs. C. E. Piott'a stu-
dio Saturday morning
Plans were completed for the
Christmas party and caroling of
hospitala to be held Dee. 24. The
party will be at the studio Christ-
mas carols were sung by the
group and Phyllis Hon and John
Murphy played several carols on
the piano. Kathyrn Lee Basse
told a Christmas story. The story
of the first Creche was given by
Miss Lola Bell Plott
The lemon "Life of Beethoven
was conducted by Mrs. Plott The
hostess served refreshments to 14

party of the Tuck-N-Stitch Club
Friday evening.
A Christmas tree in the living

decorations. Informal games were
played during the evening and
gifts distributed bom tha tree.

devotional lesson. During the
business meeting the group decid-
ed to give a Christinas basket to
some needy family this year.
Gifts which were banked under
the Christmas tree were distrib-
uted. Mrs. Johnnie Williamson
was a guest of the circle.
The hostess carried out the
Christmas motif In decorations
and refreshments. Fifteen mem-
bers were present at tha meeting.

Hurt presiding at tha red and sil-
ver appointed tea table. Silver
yule logs containing red candles
were placed In the center of the
table.
Approximately 30 were present
at tha meeting. The next meet-
ing will be with Mrs. L. M. Phipps

Peoples Sunday School Class of

the past year.
The basement of the church was
decorated in Christinas colorq
with special points of interest be-
ing a silver Christmas tree in one
comer and a trio of angel cand
sin gen arranged jn one window.
Tha guests were seated at a
long table doWn which ran a
white ribbon laced with red and
green and cratered with large
ribbon bows. The table was light-
ed by tall red and green tapers
and' each place was marked by
a small red or green cellophane
