About the first of the month
one of Mrs Dohcrtvs horses was
in tho statue another one started
to fight him he threw his head up
and in doing so he run a stick in
hD bond about'$ inches starting
at tho but of the ear and just mis
ing the brain Dr Grover was
at once sent for and took the stick
from the horses head they bad
just got this one out of danger
when last Sunday night one of
her fine mare9 from some caiifn
run a large blunt stick into her
stomach Dr Gover was again
called and removed this one
This stick was 2 and 1-2 feet long
and 2 inches wide -which wan
full length in the horses stomach'
Dr Gover thinks this i9 two of the
worst cases he ever saw
