Wapanucka is admirably loca-
ted fur having a District Fair
this fall with the co-cperaticn
of the citizens of the adjacent
territory of Coal and Atoka coun-
t e? Being located in the corn
er of three counties and in the
midst of the best agricultural
section in the county a splendid
lair could be arranged The
dates could be(flxed to follow the
county fairs in the other coun
ties and many of the displays in
these fairs could be brought here
Stock men could be interested in
s proposition of this kind as it
would give them an opportunity
to exhibit their stock There is
nothing more stimulating to ag-
riculture than these fairs It
brings about a lively and help-
ful rivalry among the farmers
and is an incentive to them to
put forth every effort to produce
prize taking exhibits and it also
tends to improve the grade of all
farm products and stimvlates
better farming Lets take hold
of the matter at once and get the
preposition moving so that the
farmers can make their plans to
have exhibits ready
