The area is heavily infested with shinnery oak 20 to 24 inches in height with scattered bunches of little bluestem, blue grama and sand love grasses. This 40 acre plot was burned on March 24, 1944 and will be stocked with 8 steers. OK-8734-C.

Bass Caught at Land Utilization Lake

Description: Photograph of Large mouth Bass caught on artificial lure at L.U. Lake, northwest of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Lake was stocked 2 years ago and has revealed by an examination of their scales, both the fish are under 2 years old. Bass on left weighed 2.5 lbs and the one on the right weighed 3 lbs. Both ere caught 18 months after the pond was stocked.
