Description: Photograph of Captain Creek flooding US Highway 66 just south of Wellston. The back of the photograph proclaims, “Captain Creek is shown flooding U. S. Highway 66 just south of Wellston. The creek was more than a mile wide. The overflow was caused by heavy rains that fell on the watershed on May 26. Captain Creek is a tributary of Deep Fork River.”
