They were listed in critical but stable condition late Wednesday in Midwest City Memorial Hospital."

Officials said the Piper Cherokee 300 crashed in a field near the intersection of 50th Street and Lynch Road in eastern Oklahoma County, apparently snagged on a fence, ripping the wings off, before it struck a tree, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office said. Federal Aviation Administration officials were investigating the crash today."
