Description: Photograph of blue panic grass seeded in March, 1947. A seed crop in June yielded 300 to 400 pounds per acre. Another seed crop will be available around November. There has been only 1 ½ inches of rain on this stand since it was cut for seed in June. TX-43, 881.

Description: Photograph of Rhodes Grass Pasture Planted. Planted in 36 inch rows in 1939. This area has been mowed for hay twice this year, has been lightly grazed and is now almost ready for the third cutting. A complete cover has been attained. Absence of weeds is a result of mowing and proper management of the pasture. TX-40, 534.

Description: Photograph of Dairy cattle on huban sweet clover paster. Sixty cattle had been on his 6 acre field 5 days at the time this photo was made. The 16 milking cattle in the herd have been producing 40 pounds mor emilk daily with 1/2 the protein feed they had before going on the hubam. TX-42-558.
