Stock Water Pond

Description: Photograph of a stock water pond laid out and staked b the Soil Conservation Service. This pond has a drainage area of 70 acres, a surface area of 2 acres, and will store 12 acre feet of water. It was stocked with fish in September 1855 and will be used also for recreation. Pond is 12 feet or more deep over 40 percent of surface area.
