Photograph of the root of an UNIDENTIFIED plant affected by plow-pan. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Soil Unit 9 BO. First cleared by Shawnee Indians in 1804. Has been in row crops consistently. Crops have consisted of cotton, corn, peanuts, and grain sorghums. Plow-pan is now pronounced on 280 acres.
