Description: A photograph postcard showing the St. Louis and San Francisco (SLSF) "Frisco"1522, 4-8-2, on eastbound "reefer" block, passing Oakhurst, OK, between Sapulpa and Tulsa, OK, 33 cars, 45 mph. This engine still exists, on display at the Museum of Transportation, St. Louis, MO, and efforts to restore it are being planned.

This was a double-track line with the Bowden passing siding in between. Note the auxiliary water tender behind the engine tender.

Track to left of station went to Okmulgee and Ada, OK, and Texas. Pullman sleeping cars were changed here from train to train at night in the 1920's. View looking southwest.
