Water is approximately 1 feet deep in an oat field on the right and 2 to 2 1/2 feet deep on wheat and alfalfa land on the left. A flood control project is planned for Long Branch Creek by the Soil Conservation Service. OK-488-6.

Flood Water Near Morrison

Description: Photograph of floodwater across Highway 64 due to Long Branch Creek going out of its banks after a 5 inch rain on the watershed. Photo made 10 hours after crest of 1.6 feet flowed across the highway. Flood control structures have been staked on Sites No. 8 & 11 for Long Branch Creek watershed by the Soil Conservation Service.
