Caption says, "5-AL-1331. View of heavy compacted earth lining in Main Canal at point of Byrd Mountain, looking downstream from approximately Station 171. Compacted earth is about 4.5 feet thick, with no gravel blanketing. Rock has been dumped along bank to use in ripraping to counteract erosion of bank by wave action."
