Description: Photograph of an UNIDENTIFED man standing in a contoured field on the Nelms Avant farm. This field is currently growing cowpeas and milo in alternating rows. The back of the photograph proclaims, "This is a field farmed on the contour to prevent water from running off rapidly and causing damage by erosion. In this particular field there are two separate crops, cowpeas and milo maize. These are planted in alternate rows."
