Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "New landmark in the Oklahoma Panhandle, this all-steel derrick in Guyman, was erected as a monument to the petroleum industry. The 96-foot derrick, located in a shopping center, was furnished by Kerr-McGee Oil Industries, Inc., and Phillips Petroleum Co. The Guymon Chamber of Commerce will develop a tourist area around the site."
