Description: Rockland Station was built in 1937 by J.W. Bennett as a five room home, general store and gas station. A feed store was leter added to support the local community. Around 1941 people began to move away from the area to join the war effort and the Bennett family finally ceased doing business in 1950. In the early 1950s the building burned leaving only a rock structure.
