Description: Photograph taken for a newspaper owned by the Oklahoma Publishing Company. Caption: "Car in which three persons were injured Monday night in a train collision is towed away from the scene. A 37-year-old Oklahoma City woman and her 15-year-old daughter were seriously injured Monday night when their car smashed into a train in northeast Oklahoma City. Mrs. Bonnie Stump, of Rt. 12, Oklahoma City, and her daughter, Georgia, were taken to St. Anthony Hospital in serious condition. Mrs. Stump, a girl scout leader, was driving her daughter and Joyce Bollinger, 15, of 3929 Del Rd., Del City, from a girl scout meeting, relatives said. The Bollinger girl was in fair condition at St. Anthony. Police said Mrs. Stump's car was eastbound in about the 3000 block of NE Grand Blvd., when the car crashed into a Katy Railroad engine traveling in a northwestern direction. The intersection was not lighted and bore only a wooden cross-bar sign as marking. Police said the car skidded 41 feet before striking the engine, operated by Edward N. Overby, 60, of Parsons,Kan. The train dragged the car about 15 feet after the impact, police said. Mrs. Stump was trapped in the auto for about 15 minutes after the crash."
