Description: Photograph taken for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Boy Scouts who complain that everything about a hike is fun except the hiking will envy Grover Ferrill, 128 Southwest 26th St., above, and the 14 other members of the mounted troop being organized in the Capital Hill district. Each boy has his own horse and the troop will ride on "hikes." Weekly riding sessions also will be held, when instructions on care and grooming of horses will be given. Harold Barton is scoutmaster. It is believed that only one other mounted troop exists in the United States."
