Description: Photograph of a large herd of cattle on Blue River bottomland pasture. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Pasture. Blue River bottom land. Cleared in 1956. Was wet, poorly drained timber land near worthless pasture before clearing and planting to midland Bermuda and clover. Planted to Bermuda 1957, 500 acres Ranch has 200 ac. on cultivation. 1959-ran 135 head grown cows and 500 sheep and offsprings [sic], uses vetch and clover for sown pasture. 10 on hill. 11 on bottom. 11 was cleared."
