Gully Control

Description: Photograph of one of several methods which are used in gully control work. The pasture has been contour ridged, the gully banks have been sloped and brush dams built to hold the bottom until the vegetation can become well stabilized. Notice how the little bluestem grass is growing on the silt collected and held by the brush dams.
