Description: A 'Grand Ball' printed invitation (presumedly to John Eugene Sprague) of Aline, inviting him and "ladies" to the Russell Orchestra First Annual Ball, Wed. evening, Dec. 28, 1892 at the Opera House, Russell, Kansas. Mr. Sprague played baseball for Russell, Kansas during the summers after the opening of the Cherokee Strip.
